  1. I really like this movie. First, i like how Wilson from House is one of the main characters. I like the plot behind the whole thing. I think i can relate to the professor John Keiding. Keiding likes to go out of the box when it comes to teaching. Im like that. I notice i am more involved in a class when it isn't the traditional listen to the teacher lecture for 60 minutes class. I like to get up and do activities and learn in different ways. It's good to learn by different perspectives. Music for example. In the boys school, music and things like that weren't allowed. I would die in that school. I have to be able to express myself. I have t be able to stand out in a crowd not be one of them. It was really shocking that the main character commited suicide thou. I really didn't like that. Suicide is a hard topic for me. But overall, i like how the group of kids were able to stand up for THEIR rights and beliefs.

  2. in class we watched dead poet society, it was the very first time that i had read it and it was interesting and different. the teacher did what he wanted when he wanted and did not care what the head of academics thought. in the end i did not expect the guy to kill himself over what his father thought about him doing movies and drama. if he felt comfortable with that then no one should judge him. it was wrong for the teacher to get blamed for it and get fired, that was wrong.

  3. the other day, we wathced dead poet society in class. this was the first time i saw this movie, and i thought it was pretty decent. at times it was predictable and cheesy, but thats pretty much every movie from the late 80's/ early 90's. i never really had any teachers who were too out of the box like the teacher in the movie, so i cant really relate to it too much. i think robin williams did a pretty decent job in such a serious role, but i think they could have casted someone much better for the part. overall, i think i would watch it again though, it was pretty inspirational.
