One of the most disturbing movies ever...like Super-Size Me, Food Inc. talks about fast foods and a lot of other foods. Industries try to hide whatever is in the foods so it doesn't gross out the people buying it. They also don't want people to stop buying their ingredents. In Food Inc. there is a chicken farm with 16 chicken houses in Kuntucky. They are in with Tyson and have a contract to not show the indise of the houses. A dozen chicken farmers were asked to be interviewed, and only one accepted to show the inside of what a chicken house really is. Many industrial foods are traced back to a corn field in Iowa. An average person who eats meat, eats about 200 pounds of it per person, per year. This movie is very disgusting and makes you not want to eat the food. Honestly, I still think there is some that the farms and industries are hiding. A person is never going to know the 100% truth about that is going on in the farms and industires.
It was funny to watch everyone else in class and their reactions. I had already watched the movie so I knew what exactly it is about so it didn't bother this time. It is sad how the big company treat the animals that they use to produce their products.
Food inc. is worse than Super-Size me was. I still can go to McDonalds and eat, but now I probably will never buy Tyson chicken strips or any other frozen food they sell. I don't know which was worse the chicken or the beef. They both make me not want to eat either of them ever again. But at least soemone is showing America that the top companies are trying to hide something from us. Why would anyone even wnat to sell something that can make other people sick, or even die?
What I don't understand is that the FDA and the USDA and even the goverment all know this is happening, but yet they are sitting on their asses not doing something to make this right for the animals and ultimately humans
That was some nasty stuff, i dont really like to think about how my foods made or where it comes from, i just like to eat it and im gonna keep it that way:p But it for sure isnt good that they use so many chemicals on our foods, and its sad that the companys cant take the time to do things right and it causes illness and death.
