Flight 93

We read the short story "Flight 93," remebering the tragic events of September 11.  We shared our experiences from that day.

Reginald Burke

I am a freshman at TC3.  I am 18 years old.  My favorite sport is basketball.  I would consider myself a music fiend.  Without my music I don't know what I would do.  My favorite televeision show is Martin.  My favorite type of food is seafood.  My favorite clothing line would just have to be Polo!

Rashumba Brake

I am 17 years old.  I was born October 22, 1992.  My favorite color is orange.  I LOVE SIGN LANGUAGE.  When I have free time I listen to music.  My niece makes me smile she is my heart and joy.  My favorite food is seafood and I love to dance.

Ashan Clark

My name is Ashan Clark.  I am 17 years old and I live in Brooklyn, NY.  I am currently going to TC3.  I'm not sure what career I want.  I play any sport that I can.  My favorite show is Family Guy and House.  I'm a big Lakers fan.

Sam Baranski

I was born and grew up in a small town.  I am REALLY into music.  I play the drums.  I'm living on campus so it's nice to get out on my own and start figuring out what I want to do.  Right now I'm doing General Studies and I'm hoping to get into education.  After I transfer to a four-year school after TC3, I want to move down south and just spend some time travelling the country.

Sheena Driscoll

Hey everyone I'm Sheena Driscoll.  I am a freshman at TC3 and majoring in Liberal Arts.  Along with that I am in a Fresman Seminar Class blogging about our journey and experience throughout college.  So far college is a new experience and something woth getting used to.  Good thing I have friends here to help me through a new beginning.

Breanna Whalen

My name is Breanna Whalen and I'm a sophomore at TC3.  My major is Hotel and Restaurant Management.  My plan is to graduate from TC3 and transfer to Cortland State College.  In my free time I hang out with my friends and I also work as a waitress.

Chris Sherman

My name is Chris Sherman.  I am 18 years old and I live in Lansing, NY.  I am currently going to TC3, to get a teaching degree.  I like playing any sports, primarily ultimate frisbee, football, basketball, and soccer.  My favorite shows are House and Big Brother.  My favorite NFL team is the Dallas Cowboys!  I am a laid back guy who likes to just hang out with his friends.  My favorite bands are Lincoln Park and Disturbed.  My passion is singing.  Music is my life.  My dream is to be a music teacher one day.

Kadeem Toppin

My name is Kadeem.  I am 18 years old and I am originally from Brooklyn, NY.  I moved to Long Island, NY when I was 15.  I am currently attending TC3.  I am undecided about what I want to study.  I like basketball which is my main sport, but I would play any other sport as long as it's fun.  My favorite shows are Fresh Prince, Everyone Hates Chris, The Game, and mostly anything that would make me laugh.

Lisa Davies

Hi my name is Lisa Davies.  I am 35 years old and I am a single mother of two. My oldest child is a boy and he is 12 years old. My second child is a girl and she is 7. My children are my life, my whole world. I would do whatever it takes to protect them from all the bad things in the world. I live off campus with my kids. I started college to show my kids that education is an important part of life. I want them to know that they need to do well in school so when they are my age, they won't have a hard life, that they can be whatever they put their minds. I am the youngest child out of four. I have two sisters and one brother. I like all types of music. My favorite movie is Jay and Silent Bob.  No matter how many times I watch it I always laugh, that's why it's my favorite movie. I believe that everything happens for a reason.

Fresh For Fall 2010 First Blog Entry

September 1, 2010 Freshman Seminar Self and World met for the first time.  We started class by getting to know each other with an ice breaker.  Each class member had to tell two truths and one lie and we had to guess which was the lie.  We got to know a lot about each other real fast.  Especially how many of us suck at lying.  We have agreed that we will start by introducing ourselves!
